2010: A year in review
2010 was a difficult year admittedly. That being said, there were a lot of highlights for me. Some of the highlights include:
Being a part of Murdoch’s Student Guild Council;
The events I held as Queer Rep. Specifically Amateur Drag Night and Pride Week which were both very successful events;
My work with Freedom Centre;
Studying in Italy and travelling to Netherlands, Norway and Germany...

Transphobic feminists
Roar (a feminist collective in Perth, Western Australia) have made a submission to the Australian Human Rights Committee which discusses discrimination in regards to trans people. It is highly transphobic. Remember transphobia is as bad as racism, sexism, homophobia etc. Being transphobic doesn’t make you a feminist. You can read their submission here.
